I would get this constantly when I tried to connect both simultaneously. Worked fine if I dropped the PCM phone connection. Was too annoying, sold the Tune2Air. At some point I figure I will just spend the money on a new head unit and jump the technology forward by 15 years. Until then I just stick to the 1500 songs on my little iPod.

I ordered a Bovee1000 off of Amazon after reading this thread. Received it this morning and (like others have said) had it up and running in 10 minutes. Works seamlessly. I was stuck after moving to an iPhone X and losing my headphone jack. Now I have super simple Bluetooth streaming. Makes the car feel more modern. I liked it enough I ordered another one for my wife's Q5 later in the day.

While we are on the subject.

With the Bovee hookup I can get the NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons on the PCM to work maybe 50% of the time, skipping to next track or replay. I also mapped the multi function joker button to NEXT but that does not seem to work ever. Volume obviously works always.

Anyone get the NEXT and PREVIOUS button on PCM to work reliably? MF joker?

Mine has worked flawlessly since I dropped it in a few weeks ago. The only problem I occasionally have is that sometimes it takes a few minutes for the BT Aux to appear on the “Source”menu. But for me, all of the control buttons on the PCM and steering wheel work fine.

Any chance you’ve got a loose connection between the Y Cable and the input jacks in your console?

Thanks. Seems pretty solidly hooked up and otherwise works flawlessly.

Btw I'm using IPOD not aux. With aux I can't get the next and previous to work. They do when in PCM IPOD mode FYI.

I have another mystery maybe you guys can help me with? I just installed the bovee1000 and the initial test was awesome. I flipped it to iPOD instead of AUX. It worked immediately via AUX. For some reason I can't get the volume button to work. Volume button does nothing (on the PCM). Driving me batty. Volume works fine on other inputs and worked in initial test.

Answering this for myself, in case it helps others. Looks like it's a problem with newer iPhones 7+. I can work around it and get volume by enabling AUX and switching to AUX instead of iPod input. Plays fine and I can adjust volume. No idea how it recognizes the Bovee over AUX but it does and it works. I can swap my Pixel (Android) phone in and it works fine over the iPod setting. Haven't tried w/my old iPhone 6s, but I'm guessing it's even better.

So I just received my connector and my Bovee today. I had the same issue where on iPod input I cannot adjust the volume. Turn it to Aux and I can adjust the volume, but nothing is displayed on the monitor except the AUX with a picture of a cable. Anyone have any idea? Oh yea it is a 2009.

When on iPod it will not allow the volume **** to do anything. It also does not show anything on the PCM screen.

Hmm. Not my experience. Pair bovee to phone for media. On Android you need to make sure you turn off cell streaming service sometimes. PCM volume control active. iPhone volume also active. PCM will not show track name or scrubber, that's viewable I'm phone.

Backup is load mp3s on a usb stick. PCM 3 will index and play.

I have a iPhone 7 plus and ordered the Coolstream Carpro. It works flawlessly. As soon as i start my car, the phone is linked and i can play anything on my phone. all functions on PCM work perfect. Def would recommend for bluetooth streaming.
