I wouldnt make them drive home 7 hours because of fear of having them on the road 7 hours back and forth but I bet they know exactly how you feel about the car so I would make sure to remind them

Ok - final resolution. I took all the stuff off and put it where it needs to go. Didn't say anything to the wife. Haven't seen her in 4 days and hoping to get lucky tonight.

I would place one of each of the offending items on a section of her car. Hood, Roof, trunk. side view mirror etc. When she asks why you can explain that as you can clearly see the crap doesn't belong anywhere but IN her car not all over the car and certainly not on top of your car.

BTW, you know life is too short to worry about crap like this. Go get in your car and go for a drive
