Default Original Window Sticker Replacement

Is it possible to get a copy of the original window sticker from a 997.2? I know a COA would probably tell me the same thing, but I would love to see what my car sold for brand new in 2010.

Would the original dealer have a copy? It was sold new at Jim Ellis Porsche of Atlanta.

I cannot get you a window sticker, but please PM me the VIN and I will pull the build sheet for you.

I think you will have a very tough time finding a replacement. Only the dealer would possibly have one but they simply don't archive stuff that we would all love to have. Keep in mind that they go thorough dozens of cars and that's an added burden that rarely pays them back.

I kept mine and scanned it. Curiously enough, for a European Delivery, the dealer hands you the Monroney Sticker and that is your proof to the factory that you bought the car. It is the release document.

There may be legal issues involved with re-issuing a Monroney. (This is the correct spelling.). But do a search on Monroney and reprint or copy and you'll find lots of info. The link took me a few seconds to find.

Thanks guys, I got a copy of the build sheet from the original Porsche dealer. That's all I really needed/wanted.

I believe this only applies for older Porsches that had the options sticker underneath the frunk door. I know that's where the 993 has it.

There is a space in the service manual for the options code sticker, which the dealer has to attach during preparation for delivery, but sometimes they omit it. As was the case for my 997.2
