I know I've seen several posts that say a PDK service is due every 6 years, but I just checked the electronic copies of my manual and maintenance booklet, and don't see it listed.

Am I missing it somewhere?

It's in the maintenance booklet for my 2012 GTS at 60,000 miles, but nlt every 6 years, p. 9.

 

Just checked the physical copy of my maintenance booklet, and yep, it's in there.

That means that the electronic copy that I downloaded from somewhere must be for an earlier model.

 

I recently did mine at 54k miles . Mine a 2009 and I felt comfortable that fresh PDK oil might extend the life of the gearbox. I have no scientific knowledge regarding the longevity of the fluid, but 6 years is getting on a bit so I decided to change it.

 

Just did mine on 12/30. 09 C4S. Don't have the miles but had the time. Since I have a warranty policy, I wanted to make sure the maintenance boxes are ticked.

As you will read, the big differentiater is the pan. Mine only has 12000 mi and after consulting Porsche NA, they advised that a pan swap was not necessary. Therefore my cost was much less. Storm's thread is excellent and worth the read.
