This is a high tech question for the group. I am tired of looking at the scuffed-up scuff plate at the door sill. Black plastic. Over $200/side for a new one from the dealer.

Anyone know a way to clean up the scuff marks? A mild abrasive?

i thought I had the thread bookmarked. There is a thread here in the 997 forum that talks about removing them and respraying them. Is fairly easy from what I have seen, though have yet to do it myself.
