Default Magazine Road tests?

Does anyone know (or can direct me to a prior thread on this topic) if there were any extensive road/performance tests of the 2009 Carreras? Like the kind Road & Track used to do.

I'm looking to see what the performance figures were for a non-S, non-PDK Carrera. I've done an internet search, but none of them seem to point to any extensive road tests with anything beyond 0-60 times.

Been there done that myself. I also have a 2009 C2S 6 speed and have never been able to find any long term road test data. I've been searching more along the lines of longevity and reliability. I can find plenty of reviews when the car was launched given the 997.1 to 997.2 changes, but nothing long term. Checked Road and Track, Car and Driver, Excellence, Automobile, etc. Let me know you find out assuming someone replies.

I'm not sure I'm understanding what it is you're looking for, but Car magazine just wrapped up a nice one year long-term test of a used 997.2 Carrera, though it's a PDK car. I think you're looking for extensive reviews of the Carrera from when they were new? Nevertheless, this article is pretty cool; I enjoy reviews where they actually purchase the car and run it as their own.

You need to scroll all the way down for the first entry:

Here's (as an attachment) Pete Stout's 997.2 Excellence review. No performance numbers per se, bu the essence of the 997.2

Thanks for the link. It lists 0 - 60 as 4.1 sec (compared to the Factory number of 4.7 sec) and a quarter mile time of 12.7 sec. However, I suspect that was with PDK. If so, then a non-PDK number might be a couple of tenths slower. Another site http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/review...11/coupe-2004/ gives a 0 - 100 time of 10.4 sec.

I'm looking for other 0 - speed times (e.g., 0 - 30 mph, 0 - 120 mph). For that matter, does anyone have a copy of Excellence #169 (November 2008) that might give some performance numbers?

Your right foot and left foot can reveal the 0-60 time for your car. Invest less than 5 seconds. Best research ever. Five seconds in the car vs hunting around the interwebs. You have a Porsche --- right?!?!?!

But it's somewhere around 4.6 secs with a 4000 RPM clutch dump.

About 5.2 --. 5.5 with a 5 MPH rolling start (because hey... no clutch dump).
