Some tires have what's called a "rim saver" feature where the tire is designed to stick out past the lip of the rim, primarily to prorect the rim from a brush with a curb. This feature will help with the look you're going for if you look for tires that have it. Also, what I notice about the look you're going for is the tires have very smooth or plain sidewalls. Not sure who might make a street tire with a plain sidewall, but good luck with your search.

Pete,
i cant see clearly in your pictures but do you have bulge on your tires and Champion rims?

Wheel specs are:
Champions
Front - 19" x 8.5" with 53mm offset
Rear - 19" x 11.5" with 62mm offset
ADV1s
Model ADV05 Mv1 SL
19x8.5 with 42mm offset
19x11 with 52mm offset
The Invo tires have the "rim saver feature so the tire just outside of the bead does stick out past the wheel rim a bit and that tire curves from the outer edge of the sidewall to the tread so it does have a bit of the sidewall curve you're looking for. Discount Tire Direct sells the Invos and I think the full set is somewhere between $1,000-$1,200 (can't recall exactly, but a lot less expensive than S04s or MPSS) and I am very happy with both the ride and handling characteristics. Have an oversized set of 18s on my 928 Spyder too.
The silver car rides on a full RSS Stage 2 Suspension (LCAs, Dog Bones, Toe Steer Kits, Camber locks, adj sway bars, adj drop links, & monoball top mounts with Bilstein B16 Damptronics and has a Cargraphic AirLift, so the front spring perches are adjusted almost all the way down and then fine tuned with the rear and from side to side since it's corner-balanced. It's lower than stock and looks even lower due to the RUF front bumper.
Here are a couple photos with a perspective that lets you see the rim-saver and shape of the sidewall. If they aren't large enough, send me an e-mail to petza914@gmail.com and I will send you the hi-res versions.
Hope that helps.

On the 928 Spyder they look a little different since the rear 295 section width tire is about the widest I can run on a 10" wide rim, so it doesn't curve back in as much at the sidewall to tread junction as it does on the 997.

thank you, this helps allot. i was wondering how 295 would look on 10 inch rim.
Im thinking i will have to go with 18s after all to get a better curve. i really like pictures Inconel posted.
what are dimensions of rim and tire upfront?
