Default Determining options on a 997.2

I'm am trying to determine what options a 997.2 I'm looking at has. Is there some way to do this online or is there a sticker under the front hood as in older 911's that the seller can take a photo of and send to me? I do have the vin number. Any assistance is much appreciated.

There should be a sticker in the maintenance book in the glovebox with all the option codes. There might be one under the bonnet, but it will only be there if the original selling dealer decided to put it there. Some dealers did this, some didn't.

If you are a paying member of www.renntech.org, then you can send a message to Loren and he will provide this service to you for no charge. Another option is to go online to www.suncoastparts.com and pay to have your VIN decoded and get a list of all the options. It's not expensive.

You probably know that PCNA will send you a duplicate of the window sticker for your VIN. Just make sure you are sitting down when they tell what this service costs!

Google 2009 997 order guide and you'll be able to familiarize yourself with the options and their prices.

Another member (I am not sure he wants me to post his username) requested his VIN build, please find it below.

PS. If anyone else want a build sheet just PM your VIN and I will post it here in this thread.

Utter fail on my VIN; came up as a C2S convertible (it's a 997.2 turbo coupe...).
