i put eibachs on my '07S with PASM. your concern is valid, i was disappointed with the resulting look. the ride feel is great. i would have preferred another half-inch.

I lowered my C2 base with Eibach and added 7mm spacers. Cost was 1400 total installed. My comments:

1) it lowered the car noticeably, 1 inch +.
2) the car looks much sportier and faster!
3) the car handles a little better
4) the ride comfort is a bit rougher (not a lot)
5) it's bit harder to get out of, not recommended for drivers over 70
6) I have had no issues with scrapes, in fact lowered car is more fun, as you have more to think about maneuvering the urban jungles

sometimes I feel like the Eibachs are just a tiny bit too low in the front, but Porsche supposedly has that rake for a reason.

So are the Eibachs, techart and SPASM springs from the 997.2S all "about the same" drop? About 10mm from stock PASM and 20mm for nonS non PASM?

And can you put 997.2 SPASM springs on the 997.1 and get the same effect?

Thanx for the pics, its lowered just enough.

Got my rims too, so, the car will have a whole new look in the next week or two.....

Had me measure all four corners from the center of the axle to the bottom of the wheel well. All that he had the hard measurements for was a C2 and not an S and it didn't show as having PASM. He said my current measurements are .6" lower than what showed as stock, although we both agreed that about 10mm of that is because of PASM. He asked that I check the PN to confirm that I received the correct springs and to drive it for a few hundred miles and then check again to see if any settling has taken place. He said if nothing changes he would talk to manufacturing and see about getting a custom set built and sent to me that would drop the car the advertised 1.2".

Not much more you could ask for from a companies customer service department!!

Wheee, may get to get in there and do it all again. Although I bet this time I can get it done in half the time!!
Did you ever get any feedback from Eibach?

The Eibach's were spot on for what i was hoping. Having an S model, coming 10mm lower than standard, after putting on the Eibach's, i got 5/8. Super happy with the results

Driving home from the shop wasn't to eventful, many a traffic. Hopin its what others have experienced with the Techart's and Eibachs. The H&R"s "slammed" it a little too much for me, although i think it looks better, i'm thinkin of the times when Pam and I have bikes on top and a weeks worth of luggage and a cooler...

With Techarts with OEM shocks on my car, the ride was better than stock. When I changed my shocks to Bilstein, the ride got slightly harder, but no where near punishing and the car is better "damped." I didn't go with H&Rs because it lowered the car slightly too much for certain areas where I drive and because I was also concerned about lugging cargo.
