Default 997 Mobridge install issues

Hi,

I have recently had a mobridge unit fitted to my 997 c2s Cabrio with bose. It had some issues originally (on start up it sometime took too long and didn't get the CD changer slot so showed CD Changer : No CD) but this is now mostly resolved (I think they bypassed the CD changer but its hasn't been coded out so still comes up with a no CD changer error every time it starts).

The main issue now is that the sound has completely changed. It used to be bassy and sound coming from everywhere whereas now it appears the majority of the sound just comes from the front. Its still a bit bassy but nothing like it was prior to the mobridge going in. When i move the fader to the rear some sound is coming out but fairly quietly and quite tinny.

This was happening sometimes when the mobridge unit wasn't found but other times the audio was perfect. However since the mobridge now gets found every time the sound just appears to come from the front.

Any help of what could be causing this would be great. I am at a point of just taking it out and burning CD's instead!

I have never had any of those issues with my Mobridge system. I agree with DC911S; you should contact Mobridge.

Ok thanks! I was wondering if something could have gone in the amp or something to cause it? but as it was intermittent when the system was/wasnt working I am not sure.
