Default Thoughts on Starke wheels?

Having a hard time finding any data on their build quality and durability.

Anyone have thoughts on wheels from this manufacturer?

Hi, I just got them with new tires. I like how the offsets are a little more aggressive and they are flush to the body. My understanding is that they might be the same weight if not a little lighter than oem. The best thing is that are are VERY well priced considering the quality. Mind you that they aren't HRE or BBS but I like them a lot. They did improve the look and I like the design.

Not that there's anything wrong with them, if you are the type that can accept the idea of getting what you pay for, then they are an excellent choice! I love my set! Same weight as OZ Ultraleggeras and JWL certified. Porsche specific hubcentirc & offsets. You curb one, no big deal, buy a replacement. What more can you ask for?

Can you put a Porsche center crest on these Starke wheels?

I'd like to know more about the quality of these wheels too. How good is the casting and will they hold up to cornering loads? Hate to have a wheel snap off at the hub.

They are sold on Tire Rack. They even have a spinoff version of the Turbo/GT2 wheels like yours in Silver, Anthracite and Black which is on my short list and much cheaper.

Wondering about the quality and durability.

According to Tire Rack, they are manufactured using a low-pressure casting method made in China. I'm sure they're fine for daily use but I don't know if I'd trust them for auto-x or track days.

"Pressurized Cast Wheel (usually with surface treatment)

Method: Metal under pressure to help keep air bubbles out
Purpose: Standard touring to aggressive driving with racing included
Limitations: None, strongest of the cast"

You guys are overthinking it. They are a steal for the price. An OZ Leggera knockoff at almost half the price. Very respectable weight too.

A $5000 wheelset get curbed just as quickly as a $1000 wheelset. Save your money on the wheels and buy some carbon buckets

OZ Leggera for comparison

Or, if it makes you feel better, go pay $1699 for a set from Wheel Dynamics

They all look the same to me

I think these 10 spoke rims look amazing and a good price.
Unfortunately I'm having difficulty finding them in Canada.
Won't order from tire rack as the exchange rate and customs will destroy me.
These rims are on my to-do list.

I checked this out and am now leaning towards their Fuchs style wheels and will most likely go in that direction. Thanks!

Car looks awesome! What's the tire size in the rear? Also where did you get those center caps? I'm interested in buying some of those wheels but can't find the caps.
