Thoughts on Starke wheels?
#46
I have the Starke "Fuchs"-style wheel, in Black finish, and I've been quite happy with the wheels. They look great, and the price was fantastic.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but I wanted to give a wheel update. After nearly 6 years and less than 20K miles added, I discovered a crack in one of my rear wheels. The wheels were off the car while doing a brake service and while cleaning them I noticed it and have no idea how long it has been like this. There is no other damage to the wheel, the tires have never been changed while using these wheels, and the wheels have only been off two other times. There is no specific event that I can recall that would cause this - no auto-x or track days. It is basically a weekend car on relatively good Southern California roads.
This is just a heads up to those that might still be using these wheels. I am also hoping to find a rear replacement in anthracite to replace this cracked wheel (to maintain a complete set) so if you have one, please DM me or respond to the thread. Or as an alternative, if anyone wants to buy my set I am open to offers.
