The only thing I've noticed. Is my wife telling me some guy pulled up to her at the light in a Ferrari and sparked a friendly conversation about the car. Oh same thing happen to her with a mclaren last time she took the Porsche.
Hands off she's mine guys... I mean the wife and car ! Lol

 

Oh and here is another story a Aston vantage a carerra 4s and a bright orange exige s240 go on a cruise through hwy 30 Oregon.... All I hear is that's James bonds car and yup it appeared to everyone that only an Aston was there😂

 

Hah, a group of us (997 GTS, two 997 C4Ss, a Cayman, and a new Jag FS) took a 1500 mile cruise in June. The car that mesmerized was the Jag. The rest of us were the invisible entourage!

 

Had a replica of a Shelby Cobra 427SC before my C4S. While the P car gets a lot of attention, the 427SC was an absolute magnet! I don't think there was ever a time I was out in it that I didn't receive positive comments and picture takers! The 427SC was raw HP, but I really love how the C4S performs. It much better fits my lifestyle these days!

 

911s are very polarizing, to the point of being invisible to some people. Fine with me. A few ladies have asked me what kind of car it is, which amazes me as I thought these cars were iconic. The few flirtatious episodes I've had we're from the Mercedes and Land Rover crowd because they think I have money. Ha!

 

That's just because it's still new to many. That design won't age well at all, especially the roadster. Coupe looks pretty good (aside from the tiny trunk opening/shut lines); roadster is super bland and shapeless, IMO.

 

Not saying if someone has a Porsche that means they have a lot of money. But some people may assume that.

I haven't noticed it, but I think location has something to do with it. Locally to me, Porsches of all models and vintages are commonplace, and hardly at the top of the ladder in terms of expensive sports cars. Plenty of Ferraris, Lambos etc. And the prevailing thinking among women toward the men who drive them is not particularly flattering.

Go a few miles in either direction and the women are more likely to look at a guy driving a big shiny pickup than a Porsche.

Porsche's are almost like VW's around here. Newport Beach is filled with upper end autos.
Like I stated, just something I have noticed, thats all.

Porsche 997 S: 100%
VW GTI: 0%
Dodge Ram Big Horn, Loaded: 100%
BMW 328 XI: 50%
Toyota Celica GTS: 0%
Infiniti G35 Coupe: 100%
Nice, but older Dodge Dakota: 0%

I have been dating and shuffling cars over the past 10 years, and I assure you: The car matters.

If I take my VW GTI, there is almost no chance of date #2. Porsche? Definitely. But, woman love big, shiny, modern trucks.

The BMW: Ya know, this makes sense. Some people are 'meh', as they're ubiquitous as a Civic, while some women still see them as prestigious.

I have been tracking results for many years and always share with friends and family.

Yes, there is one where a younger guy goes to college campus in a Bugatti and stands next to it and asks girls to go for a ride to his place for sex. He is very open and many get in, then he tells them he's playing. There is even one where he approaches two girls and one totally ditches the friend. Its a good watch!
