Anyone here tried this rear view camera on a 997.

I am curious about this feature, missing it when my top is up. My 2010 S cab has two small rubber bumperettes on either side of the license plate. Surely these inhibit the angle of view of these aids.
Also, one would have this engage automatically from the AUX channel on the PCM when reversing. Does this mean the MP3 audio feature for AUX is thus removed entirely, or only when the car is in reverse?
Other brands? Advice on labor, which seems at least several hours to do really right?
