Default Converting a steering wheel from PDK to Manual

So I got a good deal on a used 2009 PDK steering wheel and airbag that I plan to install in my 997.1 manual. I want to remove the PDK push buttons and replace the front trim piece with a non-PDK part (possibly carbon), and do something (no sure what...) with the holes left on the backside from the "trigger" for the PDK. Any expertise and/or source for the trim piece?

i have a friend in the UK that did the same thing as what you're trying to do.

he bought the airbag i believe on ebay, and the trim piece came from the dealer (almost impossible to find otherwise).

i think your best bet is to try ordering a trim piece at sun coast.

I tried sourcing the non-PDK trim piece.

iirc it's $440.
