Default What Car Should you buy?

I just saw this topic on Jalopnik.
http://carbuying.jalopnik.com/would-...e-9-1718010555
Now they are focused on new so of course 991 base.

But,
No one mentioned a 997.2!
As you can see in my sig.. I made a choice
what do you guys think?

Based on absurdist technology overwhelming the auto industry, the only sane 911s to by are the 993 and 964 and 996...in that order. Less is more.

Some people like technology.

I'm sure some people cursed indoor plumbing and swore by the outhouse back in the day...

This is a fact. Many people were appalled by the idea of defecating within their living space.

I'd say we all made the same choice. I like to rent interesting cars, some of which I end up buying. The 996 I rented put a huge grin on my face right off the lot. The Corvette... reminded me of the Fiero Formula I briefly owned in college. I don't see how people can compare the two.
