Ohh..Those plastic ducts snap into one another but the connection point is really weak. On the passenger side there is one connection between 2 duct tubes. The connection is towards the center stack on the passenger side. The ducts simply hang there behind the dash with no support point. Putting the vents in is not going to solve the problem if the 2 tubes are not connected. It is going to be hard to get access to it but if you can make sure the connection from one tube to the other is in place. My guess would be that the connection came undone. I actually put a screw in mine to keep the connection secure then I wrapped the tubes in foam and secured with zip ties to a fixed point to keep them from moving and making noise. If you can't put a screw in it you can try wrapping the connection point between the tubes with some duct tape to keep it secure.
