Yeah - that thread was epic. Glad it kind of worked out for the OP.

I'm getting the CPO checklist, DME report, and Paint Meter readings. Also, have a buddy in the area who is going to look at the car for me.

The dealer CPO and service reports should tell u everything I need. That's all I'd ask for. Make sure it includes the trouble codes and over rev reports. Then, if it all looks good, enjoy!

Minor accidents are not reported to carfax and has been cpo'ed, there are several members who found out the hard way, one tried to trade it in and got lowed ball because his was resprayed due to an accident. I don't understand why people who would spend 50K on a car and skipped the $250 PPI. A lot of things can happened after it was CPO'ed. Yes it's under warranty but do you want the hassle of taking it in to get fixed.

PPI or no, for me, would depend on the dealer. Remember, the dealer pays for the CPO from Porsche Cars NA. While there are minimum CPO criteria, the dealership can take a very weak car that is at the bottom of the range and CPO it and then tack on an extra $5k to the asking price. You may still end up with a mediocre car, just with a warranty. I would take a really clean non-CPO car before I would consider a CPO car that looked gave me pause. Again, it will depend upon which PORSCHE dealer CPO'd the car. They are NOT all the same.

Good point on the dealer. Any good places to check besides DealerRate, Google Reviews, Yelp, etc?

That's a good DME readout. Very low in range 1. The single ignition in range 6 is some anomaly.
