According to the following thread, terminal 15 signals when the ignition switch is turned to the On position. This makes sense since I've seen it mentioned that you can program the doors to lock immediately when the car is started.
i would give the terminal 15 a try (no idea what it is) and see if the car behaves differently at all or not. if it throws a code (or makes no diff) you can easily change it back.

btw guys has anyone gotten sync mirrors to work? my car does have memory (adaptive seats) and i am wondering if BOTH side mirrors can lower automatically when the car is in reverse.
Don't think that is a desirable option. Seriously why would anyone want both mirrors to go down
I would. It suspect it is a big city thing where parking spaces are tiny and I find myself jamming my car into stupid places particularly to avoid door dings.
Comfort window control allows you to use the electric windows for 15 more minutes after you turn the ignition off. Also enables window control after you have unlocked your car with the remote control. This allows you to sit inside and IMMEDIATELY use the power-windows, no need to put the key into ignition first.
Anyone figure out the door locking glitch? I got my 997.2 to work for a couple min, then reverted back to not locking automatically.
If you find the answer, PM me.... this is the only feature I really want.
What you experienced is the same thing a tech would experience with the Porsche computer. I watched it happen and the exclamation from the tech. It works once, then reverts (maybe a time issue where the system cycles).
This happens if you don't have sport chrono like me. With Sport Chrono, you get more options in the PCM screens, one of which is the door locking option. Porsche doesn't want us dicking with their marketing schemes.
This is probably a reaction to back in the 2000 when a dealer could "turn on" the optional trip computer and you would get outside temps.
