Default Dme report

Hello Rennlisters,
I am ready to sign on the dotted line for a 2009 911 s. The DME report states number of' ignitions at greater than maximum engine speed range 1, 191 ignitions. The report also states operating hours at counter reading overspeed 1313 hours in range 1. Ranges 2-6 show 0 ignitions. Misfire counter for every engine speed 21700. Should I be concerned, or sounds normal? Any advice form those in the know is appreciated, this is my first Porsche. Sorry, I am having trouble posting pic of report.
Cheers, David

Must have actually been owned by a little old lady. I've never seen or heard of a 6 year old Porsche with only level 1 over revs.

Bottom line, nothing to worry about.

When I got my 09 C2 Cab with 20k miles in February, the DME report looked very similar with no over revs in ranges 2-6 and very few in range 1. I will have to look at the report in the morning and confirm.

My Indy's take on the DME report was a big double thumbs up.

Good luck and hope yours is a winner.

Nothing to be concerned about. It sounds like it must be a PDK since they still register a few range 0 "over-revs" that tend to occur in Sport Plus mode. If it is a manual, then the driver was very gentle and only bumped the rev limiter minimally. Sounds like a good report from the DME point of view.

I don't know about the misfire report though.

Thank you for your feedback. The car is actually a manual transmission. Two owner vehicle. I feel better after hearing from you all about the over revs, but now I am concerned about the misfires. Is the misfire reading pointing to another possible issue? I will try again to post the actual DME to verify that I am not seeing things. I trust your advice, and all who have responded to my posts have given me great peace of mind to go ahead and sign the paperwork. Rennlist, I am finding out is full of quality people who know their Porsches! Cannot wait to join the family.

Looking further at my DME report, I had 261 Range 1s at 543 hours and it only had 563 total operating hours when I bought it. It did have 10562 M120_Misfires however.

This tells me someone had a little fun with it within the last 20 hours prior to me buying mine.

Your report is very similar to mine so from a DME perspective it does look pretty solid.
