Default Porsche short shift kit vs. GT3 Shift console

Debating which one to do for 997.2

What are the differences in feel, quality, harder to shift, with each other? Same price ($429) at Suncoast

thanks

I did the research awhile ago and the best value is the Numeric for reasons described here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...l#post10019080

Main improvements:
1) Alloy Cage
2) Adjustable throw

If you have the cash, change out the cables for cup cables at the same time. You're in there and might as well do it, though you have to jack up the car and remove the undertray which may be a bottleneck for you.

+1 for Numeric. Worth the additional $$$ IMHO.

I've had both the OEM SSK and a 2010 GT3 shifter. GT3 shifter has metal bushings and is smoother and more precise. SSK has a slightly shorter throw. Compared between those two, I consider the GT3 shifter to be superior by a long shot.

Swoody, nice aero.

A little more than I want to spend. I'd do OEM for $429 though.
