It really sucks that Michelin is losing all these customers... I'm hoping to have gotten my hands on a set of 305 Michelin PSS... but if it doesn't work out I'm also going to go with Bridgestone S04's. I can understand there being occasional shortages but there's been shortages of over a year. You'd think that Michelin would be concerned that people are moving on to other brands.

Then again maybe they don't care since they are getting all these car manufacturer deals.

I have a set of S04s on 997.1 NB turbo wheels and checking them real quick, there appears to be approximately half an inch of rubber extending beyond the wheel surface.

After looking at Tire Rack's website, it looks like the M PSS 295/30 19 tires are different than what was offered before. It indicates they are sourced from the US and have different dimensions ( narrower tread).

Ordered a set with 295's in the rear from my local Discount Tire just this morning. Will drop off the wheels for tire dismounting, take the wheels home for cleaning, then drop them off again next week or so for mounting the new TPM's and tires. It's snowing right now here in the frozen upper Midwest so the car stays in the garage at home. Plus I would never leave the keys with any chain type shop, only my local speed shop that I trust.

Discount Tire could not find 305's anywhere in the US. And they had trouble locating a set of 295's but was able to do it. Their installed price was slightly lower than TireRack's shipped to my door price, even with tax and labor. Looking forward to warmer weather...
