Welcome to the family, and stay away from DC potholes in that nice car!

First off- Welcome DC Mate! Congratulations on the new 911. It's gorgeous.

Second, I too have a tight squeeze, though not as bad as yours. The first pic is the front of the car. You can see that i use my kid's boogie board (no, it isn't touching, but its close) as a soft touch park assist. However, i added the smartpark mat, which works great! here is the link (no affiliation). http://www.autogeek.net/parksmart1.html

I pull in and it stops on the mat's first bump, then i gently roll up and over and it stops on the 2nd bump. The car parks in the same spot everytime - you just have to hit it slow so you can feel it. No lasers necessary.

PS, never done the Cars and Coffee at Katies, maybe I will see you there tomorrow!! Should be sunny for a change. Enjoy.

John

Great find, congratulations! Love the wheels

You may get a ceiling rack to free your garage space.

Thank you all for your thoughtful answers! I have some research to do now :-) for the DC crew, even though I am up early enough, I won't make it to Katie's today as I have a bit too much on my plate. But this is only the start of spring so I will definitely make my way there in the next few weeks. I bought some cleaning supplies yesterday so I am all ready now. Enjoy your weekend all!

Beautiful car and congratulations. Toss in the Eagles Hell Freezes Over DVD, the system really does sound amazing when you put in a Dolby Digital 5.1 source!!

Beautiful car! Looks like my twin down to the Tubi exhaust. We should get together for a local run. If you haven't joined PCA yet it's worth it as the Potomac region's a pretty active group.

Thank you guys! I have to admit, I did try out the sound system this weekend. As I am getting more used to the car, I started listening to some tunes. And yes, I want to join the PCA Potomac region, this is on the list of things to do in addition to checking out Katie's one of these Saturday. I am pasting a pic of my little guy with his first 911 ride, he seemed pretty happy back there?

P.S. Car seat installation with the help of Rennlist of course :-)
