Default Bosh AGM batery

Just want to know if anyone has any experience with the Bosch AGM Platinum Series battery.
Time to for a new one and while I have seen a lot of endorsement for the WallMart offering I'm not compelled to support them in any way.

PepBoys Bosch Platinum Series AGM Battery Group Size H7/L4/94R ~ $147 after 35% disc w/ 4 year Free replacement.

I'd try the Bosch battery. Walmart carries the energizer at my location. I have put one in my 997 and X5. both working after a few years. There are only a few manufacture of batteries, about 3, and they make them for lost of labels.
PepBoys, for my readings, seem to list and unlist various brands. Keep your receipt, glove box, tape it to your battery, scan it. Four year warranty, is great, but will PepBoys/Walmart/Costco be carrying that brandX 34 3/4 months from now.
My X5 battery was over $5oo installed from the dealer. I took the $128 chance from Walmart. $372 worth of new toys for my car.

In my BMW's I just bought the cheapest batteries I could find. As stated above, there are just a handful of manufacturers.

Instead of the $500 my BMW dealer wanted for battery and registering the car, I paid $90 with a coupon and an AGM battery at some auto parts store. I had no problems for 3yrs and I didn't register the new battery.

Installed the Bosch AGM Platinum Series battery exactly one year ago. PepBoys had a $50 coupon at the time so price was $150, for the H8 size. (Fit battery pan perfectly, had to move the hold down clamp to the last hole). I drive the car only occasionally in the winter and have it hooked up to a CTEK. So far so good..

I just bought one as well. $135 after tax and core at pep boys with the "SECRET 35" discount code online. I picked it up at the store by my house.

Great price for a huge AGM battery! So far so good.

I just ordered the same H7 AGM from PepBoys along with the Noco battery setting saver. For $4.50 that seemed worth a shot. Existing battery is Porsche OEM and from original owner records I don't see it being replaced.

Yeah, I originally went to Interstate Batteries since I've had good experiences with their batteries in the past, but they charged me $198 out the door for a normal lead/acid battery with a 3 year warranty. I had just replaced the battery in my W124 and remembered that I had used that discount code to get a Bosch lead/acid battery with a four year warranty for $100 and change. I'm glad I remembered.

I take it that discount code still works?

I believe Johnson Controls makes most automotive batteries so only real difference between Interstate, Bosch, Duralast, Kirkland, etc. is just packaging and marketing.
