Personally I would leave the wrap on. I think it looks incredible and give the new buyer an option. When does a buyer have an option to buy a car and pick between two colors. The wrap from our viewpoint looks meticulously installed. If it looks that good in person, have pictures of the car with it wrapped and these you just posted and tell the person, they can pick their preference and you will have it removed at your cost if thats their decision. Just build that into the price.

Now, do you mind me asking what did that wrap run you for labor and material? I love the color of my car but I havent seen a gloss wrap on a car yet and that just looks amazing.

Blue or Silver, this car looks gorgeous! Love the duck tail!

I agree with 997rs4.0, I would never buy a wrapped car. But there is a buyer for everything. May be you should put the wrapped car on the market and see what happens?

$40k CAD = about USD 32K, right? That seems quite low for a 33k mile car! (Or quite good from my perspective as a potential buyer).

Seriously, why are you selling this beautiful car?? I get the allure of the air cooled classics (I had an iconic turbo), but if you now have a nice 964 in the family you have the best of both worlds if you keep the 997.

This is a very good point...thank you for your input and it is well noted. The kids are already devastated that I would even consider selling!

I am 100% sure you will regret selling it. Just keep it. This is what I am doing with mine.

I'm a big fan of Mexico Blue...my 993 was that color. But I too would not buy a wrapped car. And yours before the wrap looks much nicer.

The upgrades on the car are: OEM Aero Bumper, Getty Ducktail, Fuchs Styled Avant Garde Wheels, Techart Lowering Springs, OEM SSK, OEM Sport Steering Wheel, Dension Bluetooth, Rottec Front and Rear LED's, Rottec Carbon Fiber Headlight Rings, Lower Mirror Arms and Rear Diffuser.

Factory options: Heated sport seats, TPMS, Sport Exhaust (PSE), Bose, Navigation. I have all the original parts.

I can definitely remove the wrap if that's what it takes to facilitate a sale.

The color is beautiful and I would keep it. It is one of those cars that you will look back 5 years from now and ask why you sold it.

Whatever you decide to do - its a stunning car, looks great, and (IMO) has the right mods done.

It's more difficult to sell a car you hate.
