Yeah, I was just kidding. I am sure I won't be laughing when it happens to my 997 
I try not to get that attached to my cars. Having owned a 996 c4s that was ready for its third engine rebuild/replacement at 115k kms, I was well aware of the problems before I bought my 997. My backup plan has always been a Jake Raby engine if things go wrong.
That being said, I dont have the $30k CAD in the bank right now for one if my engine blew tomorrow. There is always going to be a certain amount of risk that goes along with owning a Porche 911 out of warranty. Unfortunately, it comes with the territory.
