My new 997.2 C2!
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to say hi and am looking forward to being a member of the 997 community! I just picked up this beauty last week. Had to drive about 450 miles each way from Dallas to Memphis to get her, but it was TOTALLY worth it. Pretty excited as this is my first Porsche!
2011 911 Carrera. The previous owner installed the GT3 bumpers and also has an aftermarket exhaust that I still need to find out what the brand is. Car just turned 19K miles on the way home.
I attached a few pictures of the car in the showroom.

Looks great. Congratulations from a fellow guards red owner. When I was looking for my 997 cab I always thought guards red was way too flashy. But once I saw it at the dealer I could not resist. Something about the color especially with a tan interior that really satisfies those childhood dreams of finally getting that sports car I always wanted even though this was my third small Porsche.
Mods are just right too. If someone asked if they should put gt3 bumpers and 991 logos on their base 997 carrera I'd say hell no, but they look fantastic in the photos. I usually don't even swap out the front orange blinkers as I like the orange contrast on a lot of colors. But on guards red, they have to go.
