Hi all
I am new to this forum and through my search around in it I felt that I will find my help here,,,
the story in short..
I have purchased and installed the 997.2 rear end on my 08 convi-TT , including the rear LED's ,, I have done the wire swap as well in the blue connector 42 to 31 (black/Green) , I have the latest rear module ending in (260-08. However, the problem with Driver side tail light still persist and the fast blinking signals
., I know I might need the PIWIS coding but could this coding be done (remotely) ? as I do this pretty often with my TT BMW X6... In our country there are not much technicians sophisticated enough to be able to do the coding or even have the PIWIS system. Only the dealer does but wont accept doing the coding for me.
Please I would highly appreciate any help I have the USB-OBD-II coding cable and a laptop with teamviewer.

You need someone with PWIS or it's going to be impossible for you yo do it remotely. Takes a lot of tinkering to get it perfect. Like myw said above, the other solution for you would be to get the fvd harness adapter. Good luck!

did you get this fixed?
- you have the correct rear control module 260.08
- you've done 42-31 pin swap
did you do the PIWIS programming to set the rear control module from from 'incandescent' to 'LED' mode?... i think this is the step that you've missed. keep us (me) updated!
you 100% do not need the harness if you have the 997.618.260.08 rear control module (which you do as your car is 2008), even with the fvd rear module i know some who still have warning lights flashing etcetc, which needs to be cleared via piwis
also if you want the front led's to behave like oem 997.2 turbo led's as DRL; you will need to have the newer front control module as well and perform the front module pin swap also.
