Default 99 Boxster wheels on a 997.2

So, I know similar questions have been asked and I read, but I have a few more specifics...

So, I am pickup up a new to me 09 911 C2S Cab. Yay. Happy happy joy joy... but, the rear wheel has 2 cracks on the spokes.

I know, not safe to drive nor can it be repaired.

Rewind Oct 2014. Bought a new set of rims for my wifes 1999 Boxster. We were not planning on selling the car. We got it with 0 and were going to keep it until this new set of wheels fall off.

Rewind Dec 2014. For a nice Christmas present, life decides to end the year for me and my wife with a bang. Literally. While at work, a lady decides to confuse the brake and gas in the parking lot and whacks 5 cars. My wife's being the most damage.

Car is basically totaled. We got our money from INS. I put back the old wheels on the car and took the basically new wheels and put them in the garage. They have had maybe 300 miles on them? And luckily, not a bit of damage.

Today.

We just closed the deal on a new to me 2009 911 S Cab. Happy happy joy joy.

My question after all that..

Can I run (temporarily) the 997.2 on the Boxster wheels?
Should I run all 4?
Should i just run the rears?
Should I put the 19" fronts in the rear and put the 18s in the front?
Can I just run 3 19s and put the 1 18 on the rear and get it home?

18 X8 5-130.00 45 (225 / 40 / 18)
18 X9.5 5-130.00 49 (265 / 35 / 18)

Stock wheel size on the Wheels...

I wouldn't drive it on the highway with that crack. Why risk your life and an expensive car to save a few bucks?

Standard 18" wheels from the 997.1 and 997.2 owner's manual are as follows:
F: 235/40 ZR 18 8Jx18 ET57
R (997.1): 265/40 ZR 18 10Jx18 ET58
R (997.2): 295/35 ZR 18 11Jx18 ET51

Boxster specs you provided:
F: 225/40 ZR 18 8Jx18 ET45
R: 265/35 ZR 18 9.5Jx18 ET49

Taking into account the width, offset and tire aspect ratio differences, the fronts match very closely in overall diameter and poke out 12mm more. They will fit similar to adding a 12mm spacer to the 997 fronts.

The rears are slightly smaller for overall diameter but centered nicely. A 997.1 would ride 13.25mm lower and a 997.2 10mm lower with the boxster rears installed because of this diameter difference. They will fit too.

I would either use only the boxster rears as a pair temporarily to get the car home or flatbed the car.

That makes me feel a little better.

Yeah, I was definitely taking the driving home on them out of the choices. I was just a little shocked seeing that after the PPI. I had taken the car on a test ride a couple days prior.. and I was fairly spirited.

But, I think I will run all 4 and use them until I can get the wheel replaced.

You need to have your entire suspension system checked out. If you have such damage to a wheel other things have happened to that car as well.
