Rough Weekend For Some on Rennlist

While the Ruf is clearly the larger loss in an automotive sense, I know how jazzed Henry was to get his car, and it would seriously stink to have this happen.

Vile Vultures doing nothing but expressing concern and sympathy for rennlist members and their vehicles.

What you did was tasteless (feast on others misery) and not something I'm used to here on rennlist.
Just my .02$

Here is another vulture thread.
https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turb...s-wrecked.html
It has some good video of the Ruf if anyone hasn't seen what a great car it was.
As for Juha G, well, we are all just one big disappointment to him over here. 997 owners aren't allowed a voice even though one of our own is involved.

It's all good...everyone is entitled to their opinion! This is a discussion forum and isn't that what we are doing as we speak after all...?

I went over and checked out the 993 thread - there are people over there calling dibs on the wheels from Rufus and I don't think they are kidding. That's a vulture.
Me, I found out about the accident right here because this is the forum I browse. I remembered SPDST3R because he bought his car here in Denver and we all had an interesting discussion about his trip, planned and executed, over the continental divide on summer tires in winter. I was interested and concerned when I saw this thread. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel badly about myself there.

I have to take my words back as BrakingBad posted this thread BEFORE it was on the 993 forum.
I thought it was tasteless, because in the 993 forum thread it was requested that this mishap would not be speculated further at the moment.
But indeed BreakingBad opened this thread before that was posted on the 993 forum thread. My mistake, so my apologies!

If there is one piece of advice for the owner(who did make a post on the 993 thread) is to stop posting anything at all regarding the accident. It is a devastating loss for him. The car was stunning but glad everyone walked away relatively unharmed. Rufus may have been my favorite 993 followed closely by Juhas's car. It's sad to see it end up that way
