Default Creaking noise from rear passenger suspension [updated with video]

I've been noticing a creaking noise on my 997.2 C2S at low speed bumps from the rear of the car for the past few weeks but I couldn't ever nail it down. Yesterday, though, I heard it much more clearly after closing the door. Definitely coming from outside of the car rather than inside as I had previously thought. I can stand right next to the rear passenger wheel and "push" the car a bit to shake it and hear the creaking noise very clearly, sounds like the spring perch being loose maybe? Just wondered if anyone had this before and whether it was an easy fix or if I should take it to the dealer.

It's not easy to identify noises in general, let alone suspension noises.
You need to suspend the side of the car where you think you hear the noise louder and give the wheel a good shake. Position your hands at 9 and 3...and then at 12 and 6. Watch for play. Check bushings for cracks/rust and or play.
Check the strut, check the stabilizer bar etc.
Take the wheel off after,it might help you see things better...

Just wanted to update this thread rather than starting a new one. Creaking noise is still there ever since I started hearing it back in October. Its been to the dealer 3 times since and they haven't been able to figure it out. The first time they didn't actually hear it themselves so they didn't do anything. The 2nd time they just checked all the suspension components to make sure nothing was wrong. 3rd time they heard the noise very clearly but just lubricated the spring perch and it seemed to help but it came back in a few days. I don't think randomly lubricating would fix it anyway...

I still hear it every time I drive and I think its definitely something to do with the spring or shock mounting since I've localized it to that area whether inside or outside of the car. It can be heard most while making left turns (when more weight is being put on the right side) so I think its due to deflection rather than just bumps in the road. I've uploaded a video of the noise which is just me rocking the door sill to reproduce it in my parking garage. I'd be extremely grateful for any insight or suggestions as its really so annoying to have to hear every time I drive!

Ugh ... It's that loud and the dealer can't isolate it? You have my sympathy. If it were me, I would spray one suspension part at a time anywhere that part touches another part and see (hear) when the noise is diminished. Good luck isolating it. You need to know where it is coming from in order to fix it.

Check for worn bushings ... specifically on the stabilizer. I've been away from the industry a long time, but back in the day we machined replacement bushings out of Teflon to help stabilize and remove unwanted noise.

I suspect it is a bad shock.

How are you pushing on the car in the video to generate the noise? Sideways or down? Sounds like it might be one of the rear bumper support brackets.

Fine surprising that rear bumper support brackets would make that noise when you are going over a bump?

I have creaking as well. I didn't notice it when I test drove it but my hearing is bad. My GF noticed it immediatley , and now I hear it with my hearing aides in ( forgot them on my test drive) . Definitely coming from the rear somewhere. I have not brought it to dealer yet.
