My first two weeks in the 9114S

My 10-year-old told his mother, "I'm not sure about that car. It's all bubbles and circles." Maybe he'll end up owning a Dodge Hellcat or Viper, or Chevy Corvette. To each their own!

I think this is a great observation on his part. As he gets older, chances are "bubbles and circles" will have a different appeal. Ha!

Welcome DC9! I got my first 911 just before I turned 50. I have had a few now and have fond memories of each one. Only advice is to drive it and maintain it per the book and not worry about depreciation because of miles. These cars were meant to be driven. And there is no substitute. How about a few pics now of the car?

Glad to hear it isn't just me. Driving along normally, they ride your *** or run up on your bumper from a quarter mile behind....annoying as hell. Congrats and enjoy your new car.

Rolling on the parkway is fun. Ever made the turn on the other side of the bridge? enter clara barton from McArthur...put her in sports plus at the stop, make the tight turn, line it up and you got a free shot to the 495 entrance. Its magnificent Pure Porsche.

Congrats to both new owners. I am feeling late to the party though I didn't get my 911 until I was 52! And its a 996 so I know I have at least one upgrade and hopefully many more in my future but for now my 2000 C4 is just a blast.
