Keep the 911 dude. Get a waterproof car cover for your corvette.

Did something special happen in your Corvette that night?

You can certainly ask over $75k. Not the best time of year to sell, however...

997.2 C4S is a candidate for my garage. The PDK means the wife can drive it. But I would have to sell my Boss302 and i'm nervous i'll regret that pretty bad later on. Right now the plan is keep both my cars and add a Jaguar Van Der Plas L for the wife at a fairly cheap price and then possibly later on switch up to a C4S. Would be interested to see pics though...might tempt me early...

The 997.2 C4S is the best looking 911 ever created imo.

Second thought - Better idea is keep the Boss and trade in my current 997S for a newer one as I get up closer to 80,000 miles...

Your miles are fine. If the car is clean, I would think $70K 'ish in a PP sale is about right. Any higher and you'll be feeling pressure from GTS's and base 991's at around $80K.

Here are the most recent auction (read wholesale) transactions for 2012 C4S:

04/26/13 DALLAS Regular $82,000 4,692 Avg Black 6CY M No
11/06/13 DALLAS Regular $82,000 3,494 Avg BLACK 6G 6 No
02/14/14 FT LAUD Regular $74,500 28,347 Avg WHITE 6G A No
07/29/14 DALLAS Regular $78,980 20,970 Avg White 6CY A No

Considering one just sold wholesale (2 months ago) for almost $79k, I'd say your car is easily worth $72-$74. Good luck.

Is there an easy way to pull that auction data? Or do you have to be a dealer?

You have to be a dealer (which I'm not - just have access).

What about keeping the P-car and the Vette and just renting a storage garage for one of them just for the winter?

I'm thinking its worth more like 30K. I'm prepared to take it off his hands.

CAA,

Is there any way to determine if those were 997 or 991?
