What do you think my car is worth
I currently have a dilemma and thinking about selling the 911. I only have a 1 car garage and my dad gave me his corvette. So now I have a 1 bay garage and 2 toy cars. I am thinking about selling it privately, what does everyone think of the price
2012 C4S 26k - Black/Black, sport chrono, heated/cooled seats, power seats, 19in turbo wheels, full frontal clear bra, paint is spotless, the car is a recent CPO
I was thinking 70k

I would start around $69K and take anything over $65K. Those are some HIGH miles for a 2012 911, many will not like that, all will price it accordingly. What kind of Corvette is making you sell a C4S???

I was already offered 67k for a trade in, and the dealer told me to private sale it for 70+. Its not really that high miles, the cars are meant to be driven not locked in a garage . The corvette is an 90 C4 that my dad bought new and I took to my prom

My 2012 has 4,200 miles because I just use my Porsche for fun. Porsches with daily driver miles probably go for less than pampered garage queens, IMO, and unless something has changed recently.

Just to add to this....and I understand it was your prom car A C4 vette over the '12 C4s....you still high from prom night??? Sentimental value aside...park the C4 on the curb and keep the Porsche in the garage. Vette is free right??

I wont argue the 911 is a better car in all aspects, however I will not leave the vette on the curb. I can buy a 911 anytime, however to have the ability to keep the vette for another 20 + years is so much more important. I will still have a cool daily driver (M3 or possibly AMG)

911's are durable and meant to be driven not pampered. I'd keep the 911 outside. Put your priceless Vette in the garage...problem solved. Or better yet get a high mileage 964 C4, wrap it to look like Jeff Zwart's rally car, and terrorize local traffic.
