I like the look of the classic 911S but I think the old Porsche emblem you linked has posts that go through holes in the deck and not double sided sticky tape like the current emblems.

Here's mine, and I would do "911 4S" if it was a 4S

How about the special edition "911 50" badge for $339 at Suncoast?

Keep it simple, or no badge at all.

I'd go with the stock….maybe a red S but that's it!

Tom, you're so Retro (so am I though)! Even your (our) car color dates you back to when it was stock in ~1996! I like the vinyl, but like you prefer the stock script. Not to hijack but remember when you'd see cars of every color under the rainbow! Even Airlines were into vivid (dare I wonder if Sandy Calder was LSD inspired?) colors. Now we're awash in a sea of mod'ed blacks and greys (not that there is anything wrong with that - I guess it's just the inevitable swing of the pendulum).

Maybe it's just me, every time I see a red "S" I think someone bought a base model and added the "S" or vtech kicked in yo on my CivicSI type"R".

How about just a crest. You can get a matte adhesive Porsche crest (for a 928 Intake) that you could center back there - it's the same size as a hood crest and doesn't have any posts where you'd have to drill.

If you're doing black exhaust tips, it might look pretty cool and be unique - well failry unique as I crested both my 997s but also with model info. Did mine on the RUF & Vorsteiner bumpers.

BrakingBad...I know you're smart enough to tell the difference between a Carrera & a Carrera S...regardless of what color the S on the rear is.

Tim my friend….yeah….like you (obviously) I love the bright old colors (We spend an extra $5,000 to prove how much we did)! I'm also basically a stock guy….don't like the wings, different logos and scripts, side decals etc…..did some mods clear sides, SS, exhaust, leather console. Basically not noticeable to the eye except for my summer wheels

Exactly, everyone here is, so are you making the case for the red "S" or against it?

Don't put Carrera S or Carrera badging - won't work with a ducktail.

What will work is P O R S C H E or 911 S
