Ok, She passed the PPI with flying colors. Needs brake fluid change, but that was it.

She's all mine.

Drove 670 miles home on Friday as a "break" in for me. Didn't know how to use any of the gadgets except for Nav, but that allowed me to just enjoy the car.

Some interesting observations: 25mpg over the trip...shocker. Purrs at 78 mph...so much more and ready to go. Frighteningly fast on the on ramp ...the most fun part of the trip. As well, drop a gear to pass, look down ... "oh ****, howd i get that fast." Thinking this is dangerous (tickets).

Maybe everyone has the same reaction, but i found myself just smiling for no reason. True happiness...then later watching my kids drive the car (son-17 and daughter 16 (learner's permit and fearless) was priceless. I used it as an oppty to let them know they should set goals, work hard and then reward yourself. What they heard, "blah blah blah...want to take the car for a ride?" Oh well.

Enjoy the pics...

Finally, some pictures with REAL PEOPLE in them. Love that you posted the pics with your kids in the driver's seat. Congrats, great color, 4S cab, can't beat the P Car cab in nice weather with the top down, you'll love driving it every time you get in it. Have a blast.

That smile on your face while driving a 911 is PRICELESS

Thanks for the warm welcome. I had dinner with my brother last night. He has the Aston bug (on his third). So, he got in my car and just thought it was awesome. So different from the Aston, but exactly the same smile on my face. He is a great mentor.

@fweiss - Love your car too...
@Gotgolf52 - thanks for the message. if you are referring the picture in the thread, that is my son. And he giggled like a schoolgirl when he drove it and it was priceless.

beautiful car. congrats! And a great message to (attempt to) impart on the kiddos!
My dad had a silver 911 (1967) and sold it when I was 16, so I never got to drive it, but that was still the source of my desire to someday own one of my own.
