Nice Car, congrats. I really like the two-tone black and tan interior. Looks like it will be in great company in the garage.

Forget the poorly designed button system and install Porsche's proper paddle shift steering wheel.

That's a real clean 911, interior looks brand new. Nicely done. Ferrari 360/997 combo does make quite the garage.

I still have my issue of CarandDriver from about 7 years ago where they pitted the 360 Modena against the 997.1 GT3 through the Stelvio Pass.....great read.

Thanks guys

The interior sucked me in. I am partial to black on tan and full leather. The bi-color was then a bonus.

Very nice! Full leather is choice. Two tone even better.

Enjoy.

The interior is absolutely stunning. I can't actually think of a better combination for a black car then the bi-color interior you have here. Congratulations, enjoy in good health!

Nice ride. How do you compare it to your 360? By the way - the Sport Wheel that BrakingBad linked you to above, is a must have for a PDK car, imo.

I have a short list of things I might like to do. The true paddle-shift wheel is on there. Also, 7&15mm spacers. I am going to go look at that "what did you do to your 997" thread for other ideas. However, I feel that this car is well configured as is and I do not really "need" to change anything. Its just tweaking for the fun of it.

I've only had the 997 for a week, but my initial impression is that compared to the 360 it is a more refined driving experience while still delivering exciting performance. In manual mode the PDK is much much smoother on shifts. In drive mode the PDK behaves like an automatic. Great for Houston traffic.

I would give the 360 the edge on handling, but its pretty close. The 997 is a damn nimble car.

As for power, the 360 has about 55 more HP but is about equal on torque. I haven't messed with it, but with launch control I think the 997 would be faster 0-60. However, when driving on the road in sport mode the 997 doesn't feel quite as fast. It is close though.

Sound-wise. 360 hands down.

The 997 has a great interior. Has a great feel to it. Feels luxurious. Then again, so does the 360. Push on that one.

The 997 has more creature comforts and tech features (cruise control, a usable radio, cup holders, back seats, nav, TPMS, interior storage, etc) that make it work as a daily driver.

They are a great pair. The 360 is more visceral and raw. The 997 is more comfortable while still delivering outstanding performance and true sports car feel. I love them both.
