Default Porsche Gems (Find one)

Looking at old air cooled models and other cars across the country. Found this listing for a 997...thought it looked nice.

Find something... Post it here!

I like the 964 but owner did not disclose the mileage. The 997 is a similar build as mine.

I find Craigslist to be cheesy. I would not trust anyone or anything on that site.

Unless you're buying a Porsche from the casual encounters section you're probably fine. It's just a classified site. The vehicle classifieds are generally just as credible as cars.com or autotrader. Scams and mis-leading advertisements exist on all of those to about the same degree.

Exactly right.

BTW as a seller I had much more success on craigslist than I did on Autotrader.com and ebaymotors.com

I had a mint condition Ford Shelby GT500 for sale on all 3.

AUTOTRADER - 6 weeks /1037 views and only call was from brokers trying to make a buck - NO SALE.

EBAYMOTORS - 9 days, weak bids and winning bidder had to "ask his wife for permission". No money, all bull****. NO SALE.

CRAIGSLIST - Posted a quick add, had a buyer in 17 minutes. Smart man he got a beautiful car that was pampered by it's OCD owner. SOLD!

Craigslist is good and yes there scams on itbut that is every where. I just sold my old dust collector from my wood shop. I also bought half my wood shop on Craigslist. The other half is new.
