Default Pre-Purchase Inspection

I am working a deal on a 2011 C2S cab. I need a PPI. Car is out of state. I have owned 993's and done the PPI and always did a leak down test, etc. Is a leak down test needed on a 2011? Is there anything special to ask for when this goes in for a PPI? Thanks.

Can't imagine you'd need a leak down test on a 2011 - think that's overkill. Over rev is the big issue on manual tranny cars.

Unless it's a high mileage car, I wouldn't sweat the leakdown test either. Just do the usual things in the PPI.
