Intro and new to me 997.2 C4S
Delurking to introduce myself and my new car. After may years of sensible Subarus and Volvos the capital committee AKA my wife finally OK'd a return to sports cars. I'd owned Alfas and a 994 Turbo in the past and wanted to get back to something that was sporty and put a smile on my face in the morning.
Spent the last 8 months reading the forums (which are a mine of useful information) and looking for a C4S that was suitably priced and in good condition. Finally found a black 2010 C4S with under 20K km. Test drove it, purchased it and put 2000km on last weekend on a trip from Calgary to Vancouver and back. What a wonderful vehicle - oodles of power always at hand and grip and handling unlike anything else I've ever driven.

Lovely car, thraxx! Just today, as I was gassing up my red/tan C2S, there was a black/tan C4S in front of me. Got to chatting & I have to admit that black/tan color combo is very nice. Reminded me of a cool, refreshing pint of Guinness! Enjoy it in good health.

Congrats and welcome!
The drive from Calgary > Vancouver > Calgary in your new "sensible" 997 must've been very special!
I've only driven that area in a Jeep 4x4 which during a very long winter vacation was (in fact) highly sensible, however I now dream of taking the C4S up there and truly enjoying her capabilities. Perhaps one day but in the meantime, enjoy that part of the world for all of us!
Enjoy in the best of health!
