My first 911 - 997 Targa 4S
I have always wanted a 911 and found a CPO 2008 Targa 4S with 19K miles. I took it out for a test drive and loved it. The only thing is the Tiptronic seemed slow to react but improved in sports mode. The comparison is because I had just driven a 2014 Cayman S with PDK (back to back).
I'm trading in a 2013 Range Rover Sport I got brand new last year for a life long wish of owning a 911.

The Targa 4s is a beautiful car. I wrestle with the thought of trading up to a Targa 4s from my C2s Cab several times a year.
Welcome and enjoy! Looking forward to more pix when you can post them.

Thanks to all. At first I went in looking for a C4S or a Cabriolet, wanting an all wheel drive for the winter in CT. I didn't even know what a Targa was... until I saw this beauty in the dealer parking lot. I really liked the glass top and opening hatch. After the test drive I was hooked, I really liked the Sport Chrono Package Plus and could easily appreciate the PASM at work on the rough roads.
Can't wait to pick it up and have already found a set of wheels I want to get to replace the ones it has. I'll probably keep the ones on it for winter tires.

This is what I found:
Sport Edition $920 26.4 lbs / 31.6 lbs
O.Z. Racing $1936 22.0 lbs / 24.8 lbs
Not exactly a Targa 4S but the tool did have the right paint color. Any thoughts or considerations I should have when buying wheels?

9.5's on the rear?
Nice car. Targa's are a rarity around here. Of the wheels you've posted, I like the OZ.
Many here have gone with Forgestar (personally I like the F10 over the F14) or Avant Guarde's ruger line. Without blowing a budget both HRE and Vorsteiner have flow form models. Forged is the way to go for weight and strength but you're really going to pay for it. Check with the vendors, sponsors, and classifieds here and 6speed. Read up on offsets as the widebody Targa will have different fitments than a NB C2 or C2S.

A Targa is what I'm looking for too. It's a great car and yours looks really nice. What color interior does it have? Lot of nice wheels out there, as a matter of fact there is a thread going right now on the forum entitled "show me your non stock wheels on your 911" -something like that. Lot of cool wheels to look at. Might give you some ideas. Enjoy the driving experience! Lot of nice roads up there in your neck of the woods!
