Nice car. Targa's are a rarity around here. Of the wheels you've posted, I like the OZ.

Many here have gone with Forgestar (personally I like the F10 over the F14) or Avant Guarde's ruger line. Without blowing a budget both HRE and Vorsteiner have flow form models. Forged is the way to go for weight and strength but you're really going to pay for it. Check with the vendors, sponsors, and classifieds here and 6speed. Read up on offsets as the widebody Targa will have different fitments than a NB C2 or C2S.
Thanks for the advice. I just realized the specs call for 8Jx19 front and 11JX19 rear wheels but say nothing about offsets. What should I look for?

Lot of cool wheels to look at. Might give you some ideas. Enjoy the driving experience! Lot of nice roads up there in your neck of the woods!
It's got black interior (in very good condition). My passion is two wheels (2013 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200, 2014 BMW R1200 GSAW & 2014 KTM 350EXC-F) and I have a few back roads (twisties) that I really enjoy on the bikes that I know will be great on the 911.

Hope you find a Targa soon. I was lucky to find such a good one at my local dealer (10 minutes from home) and to have a great salesman (also bike rider) take care of me.

It depends on the wheel and personal preference. Some people even add spacers to the stock wheels for a more aggressive stance. The vendors I mentioned will make recommendations and can order wheels to your preference. Stock offsets can be found here beginning on page 20.

On other doubt that came up: Can the TPMS sensors be silly switched from the stock wheels to the new ones?

That is the tequipment catalog. Start on pg. 20. There are several pages of stock wheels for the Targa 4S and they all list the factory offsets.

I must be reading this wrong. I do not see any compatible mark under the Targa 4S column. It must be that all "4WD" models share the same compatibility on wheels (probably newb ignorance).

This would lead me to 57 & 51 except on the Sport Classic Wheels which is 55 & 50.

The Sport Edition wheels are 54 & 51. The OZ Racing wheels are 53 & 50. Not sure what a smaller offset means on wheel fitment or what effect it would have, but if I got this right the smaller offset means the wheel will be more "inside". Will this cause any rubbing?

There are 4 columns in the wheel chart. The C4, C4S, T4, and T4S all have the same wheel fitment. A smaller offset number will stick out further. The numbers are in millimeters. Typically people who want a more aggressive stance will run spacers in the 5-15mm range. If you wanted to put narrow body wheels on your Targa 4S, 15mm spacers on the rear would put them pretty close to stock fitment.

Thanks for the explanation. It seems the OZ wheels will stick out a little (just a few mm) vs. stock.

Stopped by the dealer today and paid. Picked up the manuals so I have some catching up to do with my reading (probably won't sleep tonight).

Can't wait for Thursday

This is gonna be a great day!

Obviously you'll need to take the day off work, and then just start the long weekend...

Post pics of Day 1 when you can! Congrats
