Well, "almost".

PPI on Monday, then I have to close the deal and arrange shipping.

Its an 09 carrera. I plan to daily drive it and perhaps get it on a track on occasion. Can't wait. Very excited.

I'll post a new thread with pictures and details when I get it.

I started looking at 996s a few months ago and things just escalated.

I do have a question. Why is the interval for coolant and transmission fluid changes so long on 911s? The conventional wisdom for ferraris seems to be every two years or even every year.

Welcome aboard BSU! The 2009 Carrera is a gem. One of the best. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun in it.

If you're interested in tracking the car, definitely join the PCA in your region. We have a terrific track program which introduces you to track driving. And if your interest continues, you can progress through stages of learning to achieve solo. I did that several years ago end enjoyed it so much that i ended up in PCA racing, which is a total blast!
