Default TPMS NOT WORKING

I installed my 15mm spacers on the rear this past weekend. No problems encountered during install since I've done it numerous times previously. I made sure the stem/valves were not damaged during the DIY.

Afterwards the left rear TPMS was not registering. I figured it'll take some time to register...it happened before. I've driven the car at least 200 miles and it has not corrected. The dashboard says "TPC INACTIVE" and now all 4 sensors are not functioning/registering on the dashboard (no tire pressure readings) and I've tried to reset via stalk but no success.

I now have flat tire and red ! signs on the dash.

Any advice?

What year is your car? Perhaps the TPMS failure was just coincidental. The Porsche TPMS sensors seem to last around 5 or 6 years. On my '08, one was replaced at the beginning of '13, and 2 more died during the year. When I had a dead sensor I sometimes had that TPC INACTIVE message and no numbers from any wheel.

It happens to us pretty frequently also, once the wheels are off the vehicle for work. Set the air in the tires (regardless how it was before), go through the menu, activate the relearn, and within 10-15 miles they should clear. Older the sensors worse they get.

Thank you for advice, I will do so.

Forgot to mention the tpms were scanned by dealer couple of months ago and it still has 1.5 years left on 2 older sensors. The remaining 2 were newer, replaced under CPO.

Did you make sure that the wheels went back on the car in the same position? If the left and right wheels where exchanged, you would need to update the settings in the computer.

No possibility of exchange... I took wheels out and reinstall one at a time.

Can the spacers be interference with the antennae in the TPMS? I heard Aluminum valve stem caps sometimes do that.

I had similar issues, however with the Durametric Pro, I just coded out the TPMS, since I gave up on troubleshooting the system. Each TPMS was costing $90 plus installation and my time.
