Default She is undressed....

... both bumpers and lights are off....

Prior Design Kit - check!

OEM MK2 DRL - check!

OEM MK2 tail light - check!

Getty Duck Tail - check!

Gundo hack - check!

And base on this initial test fit, the whole thing should take about 2 weeks to complete

You're right! But consider that these are from '06 and how humid it is in this part of the world, they are holding up pretty well. The cargraphic mufflers that is currently on the car for about a year look pretty much the same.

Most of the work are bodywork, so there's no much I can DIY. And I decided to have the shop done the lights conversions too to make sure the fitment are perfect. All I did was to order the parts, make payment, and go on holiday for a week next week as the wait is killing me. hahaha.

Side skirts installed today. They are probably THE reason I made a U-turn and went with this PD kit:

What other lot were you thinking about doing?

I do like the front end. Can the front lip be replaced when it gets damaged?

I already had the TechArt carbon fiber front lip on the original bumper, and I really like the GT3Tek rear bumper a lot and was about to place the order. Then I also felt the sides needed something to visually link the front and rear, but I couldn't find something that was "beefy and simple at the same time". Most of the side skirts are either too curvy or for WB only, and I was worried the "mix & match" would go wrong.... so at the end I bite the bullet and went back to the PD kit which I really like from the beginning but the high cost was really what kept me away.

Good question. Actually I'm not sure. The bumper and lip comes as one piece. I'll have to check with the body shop.

I didn't. I wanted to minimise any unnecessary issue, so I ordered the lights from the body shop too and have them included all the wiring & installation. They are pretty reputable (expensive) and have done a few .1 to .2 conversion, so I didn't ask too much detail and just let them do the work.

But base on what I've read and quotes from various shops so far, a converter / module is required for the rear, and some sort of wiring / cabling is required. Probably safer to go with the fvd cable.
