Default Collinite 745 double is a great wax

Just wanted to share. I waxed her a couple of weeks ago with collinite. First time i used the product. Looks good i said, because it was relatively easy to put on. But the surprise is after these weeks, water still beads like crazy. Its better than dupont, or rejex or anything i have tried before...

Local car detailing shop recommends collinite as the best he has used for durability and prevention of dirt build up. He uses Collinite #845 InsulatorWax on his own cars. Much cheaper than the top end waxes and better.

Couldnt agree more. And its just a simple wax. I also have a bottle of 845 but decided to use the paste first as it dries up if kept for long...its really a good product. I have no affiliation.

Sounds like you can apply it by hand, let it dry and then buff with the PC

For it's price range it's fantastic.

The stuff I currently use lasts a legitimate 6 months through the harshest conditions. You end up paying for the durability and shine. We're talking rain, snow, -40 temps, +120 temps, sun...it doesn't care.

I used to buy 1,500 dollar a can wax, now I'm down to like 220, but it works just as well!

Are those numbers typos? I use Blitz wax for about $25 a can and believe it provides a great finish (although not 6 months durable).

I forgot to mention these weeks were with sun rain dirt and bad weather driving. After washing with water and microfiber wash mitt, beads all over again, not to mention that durable shine. Cant say enough good things....now lets wait for the months to pass.

No, I'm a bit nuts about my detailing stuff

Their trim dressing for instance is fine but I prefer a different brand that costs about 1/10th of what the swissvax stuff does.

Do you mean Collinite 476? I can't find 745.

I've used this stuff for years on my boat. It's a great durable wax. Highly recommended.
