Default Perfect Condition '06 Guards Red 997

Greetings,

I am considering buying a new Panamera S4 in order to get more space and am curious what my 997 would be worth.

2006 Carrera
Guards Red / Black Leather
21,000 miles
PASM
Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE)
Manual Transmission
BOSE
Rear Wiper
Power driver / passenger seats
New Michelin PS2's (Fewer than 1,500 miles on them)
Original 19" Lobster Forks
All Books / Records / Keys

Absolutely flawless condition both inside and out.

I am the second owner. I purchased with 3,000 miles on it from the first owner in 2009.

Any thoughts on value would be appreciated.

Private party $42.
Trade maybe $36-38.

$40K. There are 16 non-"S" manual 2006 on 997s on Autotrader right now for less than $40K. Yours would be the lowest mile example for less than $42K. However, $42K can buy a nice, <50,000 mile 2S or 4S (13 for sale)
That's purely a price comparison, I've not seen any of those cars in person. I'm tracking the market to buy...

Out here in the DC metro area I havent seen a single 997 with miles that low in the 38-39K range. I think its very much dependent on where you live, perhaps ebay might be your best bet to drum up interest outside of your geographic area.

That's an excellent point. My numbers are a nationwide search that I put into a spreadsheet. Markets where there a a lot of 997s (SoCal and the NE) have lower pricing. Also Chicago area seems to have a surplus.

Just off reading description and no one else's responses I immediately thought 41-45$k I'm in SF bay. Prices seem quite inflated here compared to LA where I bought mine.

Thank you all for your replies.

Given the miles, condition, and options for a non-S, I would like to think it would bring in the low to mid 40's.

I may just keep it around as another toy if it won't break the low 40's mark.

Thanks Guys.

Tom
