Default Any interest in StopTech replacements for PCCBs

In my quest to find a high performance, low cost replacement for PCCBs the shop I work with said ST can build a set of replacement rotors for PCCBs. Is anybody interested in these replacements, if so, I can get some more information. The only other options I've seen have been the Brembo Type III @ $2800 and the Girodisc @ ~$1900.

I think dba (Disc Brakes Australia) makes 1 and 2 piece rotors with different slotting / drilling options and a patented venting pattern that would also fit. I used a set of their 2-piece slotted version when I did the brakes on my wife's 997.1 C2S earlier this year and found an online brake seller out of the Syracuse NY area that had them on sale at the time for something like $500 for the pair, which I thought was a really good deal on an aluminum hat 2-piece rotor. Offset was perfect and these were the 350 mm version of the rotors like on the C2S and Turbo (maybe the C4S as well), not the 380mm version like on the GT cars.

I can look up the seller and dba item # if anyone is interested.

I purchased the dba's back in September of last year for $499 from www.topbrakes.com. Part # for the Front Left & Right pair was - DBA52386SLR.

For the rears, I bought some Sebro rotors from Pelican parts and used high-temp brake drum paint to paint the hubs black to keep them from rusting and have them match the black aluminum rotor hats on the front.

Here are a couple of pics - her car is pink pearl and we painted the big red calipers white, had new caliper decals made with heat resistant vinyl that say "Porsche" in pink script. Looks pretty nice behind here GT3 wheels. She loves it.

You just need GT3 rotors to replace yours.
