Consignment

Have you thought about carmax? At the very least, you can use their quote as a baseline for your negotiations with the consignment dealer (and if there's not much of a difference, just go back to carmax and sell it to them instead). Not sure how much the "time > selling price" factor is for you though.

Who's insurance covers your car on "consignment"? Do strangers test drive? does a sales person always accompany the perspective purchaser?
Who's fault are the twins? Two sperm? or split egg? dizygotic or monozygotic. That will determine if you should/need to get rid of your car.
Hey, were all full of opinions here. Car, millage, options? I'm sure someone here has some insight for you. Is it listed on the sight for sale. Don't have time? Price it low, It will get snapped up. Or mothball it, and see, really what position your in in six months???
