I'm wondering if anyone here has installed this side marker? The forum search results did't show much. So I'm wondering if any one anyone have switch to this and if it trigger any code.
I ordered a set from FVD, made by dectane, it's on their website. They seemed high quality but were not plug and play, did not have wire harness adapter which plugs into the factory harness so I returned them with no hassle courtesy of FVD's excellent customer service.
The set I ordered said they were made for my 997.2 but didn't work out for the above reason so I stayed with my clear side markers ordered previously from Suncoast..

Thanks. Yes, I did look at this one and was considering it. But I think I need one with black background and clear top over, to go better with my black car. Tintingis not an option for me.
Interesting... I managed to track down source in Taiwan, and they did say that it's for 997.1, which is what I have but will be converting the DRL and tail lights to .2. I'll report back once I got mine next week.
Got mine today. The quality is surprisingly very good. Even better than the original clear side markers. I can see that this design might not be for everyone, but I think these will go very well with my upcoming mods.
